Subject: HUD, LPS differ on FHA foreclosure data

HUD pushed back against reports of spiking FHA foreclosures in April. Late Thursday, the department said their latest data for the month shows less than 19,000 foreclosures were started on FHA-backed loans, actually decreasing 11% from the previous month.
